Ohh man I haven't posted for awhile! So here's a post about a cool dream I had last night.

I dreamed that the Curiosity rover found intelligent life on Mars, and the creates were found had put themselves in a cryogenic suspension thousands of years ago so their species could survive while Mar's supply of liquid water dwindled. Also somehow there were humans on Mars in space suits along side the Curiosity.

Then my brain went in a completely different direction and dreamed about some very hot but TMI things. XD;;

So I just found out that my bf just bought me an Xbox for my birthday! I've known that I'd be getting one for a few months now, since I figured it out that an Xbox was what he was going to get me. xDD

And he's going to let me borrow his copy of Skyrim for the rest of the summer!

Got home from my cabin about 2-ish yesterday. I had a wonderful time up there. The weather was beautiful!

Since we're in the middle of the forest, and the use of fireworks is banned there, I didn't get to see any fireworks on the 4th. But that was ok because I ended it by watching some Lord of the Rings! :D

Mom's still up there painting, and dad went up to go get her this morning. Kinda nice being home alone right now...

Hey DW and LJ peeps! Tomorrow I'm heading up to my cabin for the 4th of July and probably won't be back until sometime Friday or Saturday morning.

There's no internet up there, but my phone gets internet so I'll most likely still be on Plurk and Facebook.

Hope all my fellow Americans have a great 4th of July, and Happy Canada Day to all my Canadian f-listers!

Back from Seattle Pride Fest!

Went down to Seattle with my friend from high school and two of her friends to go see the Seattle Pride fest! It was my first time ever going to a pride celebration and it was really fun! Glad I got to participate in more LGBTQ-related things.

The weather was surprisingly nice and sunny for a good chunk of the day and no rain. The parade was awesome (lolol so many naked/half naked people!) and we all got some free condoms and lube. xD

At one of the booths I bought a hand made loch ness monster stuffie! It's so cute!

My feet hurt so bad right now from all the walking but it was totally worth it!

Ugh, so somehow my mother and I got onto the subject of religion last night while we were watching Concert for the Queen. She asked me how often I prayed and I replied very rarely if at all because I'm not very religious. (Note: She's Catholic, while I consider myself to be Agnostic.)

She started screaming at me saying things like "How are you going to raise your kids with out religion?" (Um, for them to find their own path, and introduce them to many religious ideals and institutions so they can make an informed decision instead of me shoving whatever religion I grew up with down their throats.) and "Where are you going to get married?" (Wherever I damned well please. My cousin had a beautiful wedding ceremony that didn't take place in a church!)

Oh, and here's the kicker: I apparently worship satan because I don't pray.

Really mother? Just because I'm not a very religious person doesn't mean I ~worship the devil~ or that I am a horrible person. Speaking of horrible people, why don't you evaluate ,yourself, mother. You're always spouting hateful shit about the LGBTQ community. (she literally calls people who are trans* "its". It's fucking disgusting some of the things she says.)as well as a few racist and sexist comments here and there as well. :/

Luckily after a few hours of letting her calm down she came back to me and apologized. But still. *sigh*

I totally had a dream last night where dinosaurs still existed and I was as a pet store trying to determine if I wanted a dino or a snake as my dorm pet. (Which is funny because my college doesn't allow any other pet but fish in our dorm rooms.)~~This reminds me just how badly I want a snake for a pet someday. ;w;~~

Oh my sleeping brain, you never fail to amuse me.
